Readers of this book should be aware that "Heroes Saints and Yogis" is written from the perspective of two Yogi Bhajan cult followers. "Heroes Saints and Yogis" is not representative of the Sikh religion as it relies heavily on the teachings of the authors' cult guru, Yogi Bhajan. Not surprisingly, Yogi Bhajan whom the authors are slavishly religious to in the book and in real life, has been rejected as a fraudster by 99% of the 23 million or so Sikhs in the world. One only needs to Google Yogi Bhajan "scandal" or "critics" to see that many respected Sikhs say Yogi Bhajan created a religion around himself while violating established Sikh codes of conduct and horribly misleading his students into occult practices.
