That will reveal where their heart truly lies.--Fear wants us to believe that situations are dead-ends when they are really just roadblocks. Don't believe your fear. Amazing things can happen when you choose to move through the roadblocks.--When we know more of who God is, we will learn to trust what he does, and doesn't do, as all being for our ultimate good.--We always have a choice of how we will act in a certain situation. What the majority does, is not what we have to do. Sometimes, standing out from the crowd can ruin your life, but other times, it can save it.If you read the book of Esther along with the notes, it will help you see some things you might not have seen before. I started out with the Bible plan on Youversion. I was so taken by the simplicity, yet depth of the plan that I ended up purchasing the book. I was actually eager to read each day as it unfolded a new truth about the book of Esther that I hadn’t realized before. David Ramos did a very fine job at simplifying this book yet maintaining such depth. If you want to deepen your study of Esther, I definitely recommend this book!
An enjoyable read in plaine everyday English. Familiarity with The story of Esther would be most helpful. Indepth knowledge of the working of God, your choice to follow him or not, and your purpose in life. The purpose that God has chosen for you should you chose to follow the path he has for you. Most of all it gives answers to all of the questions you have regarding God that start with the word why. God works through the most unlikely people, such as Esther. Conforting and practical in day to day life.
I have read other devotionals by David Ramos, and as with the others, this one is excellent. I appreciate Ramos' style of writing and how he presents his ideas.I knew parts of the story of Esther, but this little book taught me so much more. There were several things I highlighted that were applications for my own life.I received this book for my honest review from the author.
Just finished this Devotional book. It was written to read a portion each day but I could not do that. I could not wait but instead read it in less than a week. I have studied the book of Esther other times but this time, I was given a fresh approach, understanding, and insight. It became very personal and relevant to me and my life, it wasn't just history.
This is my 4th devotional of David Ramos, I have read. And I must say that I have enjoyed all of them. He gives you New understanding of scripture. I recommend his books for anyone, who wants to grow in their faith.
I thought this book to be very enlightening. The way it was presented, gave me a new outlook on how our actions can influence others. Truly introduces a different way of looking at your present circumstances and consider how your actions or response can effect others. I would give it 5 stars.
