I have a nearly identical background and have had to undergo the same journey, so to read about their experience has really been a kind of comfort and reassurance in my own soul path. I know it’s not easy for anyone to completely do away with a belief system like i had to and to search for ones self and to choose what you do want to believe but they have broken it down in a very simplistic way. I do really love and appreciate that they also included the scientific aspects as well because personally I love the science behind “spiritual†things. Their section about ending victimization really spoke to me as coming from a cult I was raised to have that victim mentality but I never wanted to think that way and in leaving I never did i took hold of the reigns of my life, none the less this really helped me get an understanding why there are those extremes sometimes as well..... just over all this book has touched me on a soul level and I found myself flipping through the pages to learn more about their experience and viewpoint. Really great read!

I loved the honesty and ntimacy this book offets. Most books one buys as"self help" are really just in depth descriptioss of the problem, but the passages imhere seek to offer paths to find one's own answers. L I ved this book
The book starts a bit slow but delves in deep with reading. The honestly of the author is stark and sincere. Clearly, a great deal of thought and work has gone into this amalgamation.
